THIS OLD HOUSE

Being naked approaches
being revolutionary; going barefoot is mere populism.

John Updike (b. 1932)
, U.S. novelist, critic. On the Vineyard, "Going
Barefoot" (1980; repr. in Hugging the Shore, 1983).

This shoot was taken at an old abandoned house in Ravenna, Ohio. It was a fantastic location for photography with the peeling paint and falling plaster contrasting the beautiful lines of my client. af
